President Donald Trump said the council members had committed $7 billion in aid for reconstruction in Gaza and announced a $10 billion commitment from the United States to the peace council initiative, an amount he said was small compared to the cost of the war.
It was an event where world leaders made financial and military pledges and pledged to resolve global conflicts, which he made the starting point of his presidency.
President Donald Trump said the peace council would not only achieve peace in Gaza, but would also intervene in other hot spots around the world. He said they would help Gaza. They would make it work. They would make peace. And they would do this in other places.
He added that the members of the peace council will be able to do things that many cannot imagine or think about, calling this first meeting, which will be attended by representatives of at least 40 countries, including heads of state, one of the most important days of their careers.
